What this site
collects, and why.
The short version: I ask for as little as possible, I do not sell anything about you, and you can have whatever I hold on you deleted by sending one text.
What you give me
You do not have to give me anything to read this site. When you get in touch — by phone, text, email or a form here — I may end up with your name, your business name, your phone number, your email address, what trade you are in, and anything else you choose to put in the message. I keep it because that is how I reply to you, and if you become a client, how I run your account.
What gets collected automatically
Like every website, this one and the services behind it may automatically record things about your visit: your IP address, your browser and device, your operating system and language, the page or search that sent you here, which pages you looked at and for how long, and a rough location worked out from your IP address. That may be collected through server logs, cookies, pixels, tags, scripts or analytics tools.
Cookies and similar things
This site may use cookies and similar technologies to keep it working, to remember a preference, and to understand which pages are actually useful. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of a site may not work as well if you do.
Other companies involved
Running a website means other companies handle parts of it — hosting and content delivery, domain registration, analytics, spam protection, email, and a payment processor if you become a client. They only get what they need to do their job, and they are not allowed to use it for their own marketing. If card payments ever run through here, the card details go straight to the processor — this site never stores a full card number.
What I will not do
I do not sell, rent or trade your information. I do not hand it to data brokers. I do not add you to a mailing list — there is not one.
Client websites are separate
This page is about fitzwebdev.com. A website I build for a client belongs to that business, carries its own privacy page, and what it collects is that business's decision, not mine.
Asking what I hold, and getting it deleted
Ask and I will tell you exactly what I have about you, and delete it, unless I need it for a bill or something the law requires me to keep. One text is enough — there is no form and no account to log into.
Children
This is a website for business owners. It is not aimed at children and I do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
If what this site collects changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the bottom changes too.
